Kerry-Edwards Election Night 2004

Kerry-Edwards 2004 | Boston, MA, 2004

What It Was

Copley Square, Boston was the site of the culmination of the Kerry – Edwards campaign and Lightswitch was brought on to light and provide projected backgrounds for the event. The night was broadcast worldwide as the election returns came in.

What We Did

Lightswitch lit and projected on many buildings in Copley Square, Boston. A large performance stage was in place to entertain the crowd as night fell in Boston and Lightswitch provided the background shots for the entire event. Pigi Projectors and automated lighting fixtures were used to provide graphic imagery of the campaign as well as political imagery.

Why It Worked

An outdoor event in Boston in November televised worldwide. Not a small task but when the Red Sox won the World Series and a parade was scheduled directly through the job site two days before the event, the challenges got tougher. Lightswitch met all the challenges and delivered a show that was worthy of the historic event.
